Shipping
The charge for shipping is determined by the weight of your
purchase and the country and postal code of your shipping address.
Therefore, the shopping cart has to know what your shipping address is
in order to calculate shipping. Just click on Google Checkout or
Checkout Now, enter your information, then see your shipping options.
Your credit card will NOT be charged until you click OK on the final
confirmation screen.
Orders are processed in the order in which they are received. Items
are sent against cleared funds. [Most payment methods clear the same
day, except checks which usually require 5 business days for US checking
accounts.]
FULFILLMENT: We fulfill 3 times a week. Shipping confirmations are
not necessarily sent out on the day the items are shipped.
If you want to make sure that you receive your order by a certain date, please email us at rbarr@kuhnseaverpublishing.com
You will receive a shipping confirmation on the day the product is
shipped. If shipping is delayed for some reason beyond our control, we
will notify you by e-mail immediately and you may elect to cancel the
order at that time.
US Shipping
Ground Shipping: The default carrier for destinations within the
United States is the U.S. Postal Service using their Priority Mail (with
tracking) service. We also offer FedEx Home Delivery.
Second-Day and Overnight: Service offered for expedited delivery
within the United States includes several levels of service from FedEx,
and Express mail from the US Postal Service.
FedEx Express Saver service guarantees delivery within 3 days by 4:30pm.
International Shipping
International shipment methods include services from Federal Express or US Postal Service.
International buyers are responsible
for customs duties and brokerage fees. Such duties are not included in
the calculated shipping charges. Please note that if you choose
FedEx as the carrier, they charge a customs brokerage fee that they will
collect directly from you upon delivery.
We prefer that you choose a service that has tracking. The least
expensive option is usually U.S. Postal Priority Mail International.
If you choose First Class Mail International service from the United
States Postal Service [USPS], then there is no tracking available. You will bear the risk if the package goes missing. Our
customers have experienced good service from this shipment method so
far, and it is an affordable method. We feel that it is best to have
tracking service, but we want our international customers to have the
option if they need it.
Customers are responsible for any applicable customs, broker fees,
duties and taxes which are levied once your package reaches your
country. We have no control over these fees, nor any way of determining
in advance what the fees will be. You will need to contact your local
customs office or post office to get this information.
Shipping times will vary depending on the country. Shipping delays
occasionally occur due to customs. Please understand we have no control
over this and you will need to deal with your local postal service,
customs office (or FedEx) in your regarding delays.
When shipping via the US Postal Service requires some patience. The
service is known to be reliable but it can take some time. Please note
that the US Post Office requires us to wait 30 day from date of mailing
to start a trace; then the trace can take 30 days. The trace must be
completed before we can issue a credit or ship replacement items.
All international shipments must list the value of merchandise on the
outside of the package for customs reasons. Again, all taxes, duties,
brokerage fees and expenses related to importation and compliance with
local import country laws are exclusively the responsibility of the
recipient.
